Exhibition of Dinosaurs in Kiev

AllosaurusFrom September 10 in Pechersky Landscape Park at the Singing Field there is held the exhibition "World of Dinosaurs", where one can see more than 50 exhibits of dinosaurs, recreated in full size on the latest scientific advances.

This exhibition is an international project which is held in major cities of the European Union and first presented in Kiev. On four hectares of Pechersky Hills there are placed stegosaurus, diplodocus, triceratops, archaeopteryx, majestic tyrannosaur and other prehistoric reptiles. There are represented exhibits of Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. Dimensions of the exhibits are impressive: up to 6 meters in height, 23 meters length.

In addition, visitors can learn more about the ancient reptile from the fascinating story of the guide; take part in the excavations of the remains of dinosaurs; view the exhibition of prehistoric fossils, which presents: the sole skeleton of the real dinosaur in Ukraine, jaws of mammoth, trilobites, ammonites, mosasaurus, fishes.

The exhibition is open from 10:00 to 20:00 every day from September 10 to October 31, 2010. Tickets: children under 5 years (subject to availability of a birth certificate) - free of charge; children aged 6 to 16 years (with a birth certificate) - 40 UAH; adults - 60 UAH; family ticket for 4 persons (only on weekdays) - 100 UAH.
