The Ukrainian Currency "moves" abroad

For the convenience of the EURO-2012 fans the Ukrainian national currency (hryvnia) will be sold at the major European airports. This statement was made by the Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Borys Kolesnikov. He noted that all the procedures have been simplified, and communications have been established with all the border crossings points.  Besides, it was agreed that the European Cup visitors cross the Ukraine-Poland state border only once, on the side of Poland, under the simplified procedure.

"The hryvnia will be sold at the major airports of the Western world to avoid a situation when 10-15 thousand of foreign guests arrive at the international airport Boryspil and all at once try to buy the local currency,"- Borys Kolesnikov said.
