The dolphinarium in Skadovsk has been working without being officially opened

The Governor of Kherson region N. Kostyak entrusted the Head of Skadovsk area Egor Ustinov and the Head of Akvarel dolphinarium Alexei Plusch with officially opening the dolphin therapy centre that has been operating for months.

Every day Akvarel International centre welcomes children from Kherson region and Russia. Dolphin therapy is part of the methodological and psychological rehabilitation for children with a variety of developmental disorders. Dolphins improve both physical and speech development. Day by day the young patients become healthier and more confident. Their speech keeps getting better every day, and they try to move on their own.

Classes and treatment in the dolphin therapy centre are carried out in the form of a game. Two or three sessions after joining the centre children are able to better control their movements and get better motor skills. And don’t forget the happy mood!

The dophin therapy center in Skadovsk is part of the presentation program of the area for the International tourism forum that is currently taking place in the region.
